Recap
Octyavr 31 (continuing into the night before Neyavr 1) — Sildir opened with a player recap of Session 1: relic chase into the mist, locked Durst Manor, Durst family tragedy, ghost children, and descent to ghouls in the crypts (Session 2 @ 00:00:20). The party resumed in the dungeon after the ghoul fight, still hearing chanting and racing the grandfather clock toward midnight (Session 2 @ 00:06:44).
They explored eastern crypt rooms, looted a scrying orb (left behind), cleared a trapped upper corridor, fought the flesh mound beneath the altar—revealed as dead infant Walter—and triggered Elizabeth Durst's spectral collapse of the house. Escaping into an unfamiliar forest, they long-rested in an abandoned watchtower, buried the Durst dead, and leveled to 3. After passing self-opening iron gates bearing the Ravenloft raven crest of the von Zarovich line, they found a corpse with a compass pointing to tally-mark "13," sighted Barovia Village and Castle Ravenloft, and were halted at the village outskirts: "Halt! Declare yourselves! Be you dead or alive!" (Session 2 @ 03:33:05).
