Session 08 - Summary

Recap

Continuing from Tser Pool on Neyavr 3–4, the party camped at headless-statue valley gates before Vallaki. Irredel read aloud from the van Richten werewolf manuscript; wolf bites on Sildir and Sylalys healed normally. After a long rest, Ember and Saturno would not wake—trapped in a supernatural trance. The party built a sled and carried them toward Vallaki. Near an old windmill they met Morgantha, who offered dream pastries; Sildir kept a sample later revealed as enchantment magic and buried it. Ireena Kolyana rushed toward a familiar lake but Sildir Commanded and persuaded her to defer until Ember and Saturno were safe. Wolf ambushes escalated with regenerating "spooky" wolves; one dead wolf reverted to human form. Irredel, Sildir, and Mercurio were bitten; Irredel's arm wound stayed raw after healing—party believes lycanthropy (full moon in six days). Mercurio noted monsters never target Ireena Kolyana. The party reached Vallaki's outer palisade: refugee tents, wolf-head pikes, and cold reception toward Ireena. Guards demanded names, vampire teeth check, garlic test, and one-gold toll per Baron Vargas Vallakovich's rule. Session ended at the gate dispute (Session 8 @ 03:37:48).
