01:55 [Mercurio (Gui)] Yeah And When we we took we kind of like took some shifts With sleeping and When we woke up in the morning two of our friends Saturno and Ember were not waking up and we determined that it was some kind of Magical magic affecting them keeping them in their sleep. So We basically just carried them With some contraption that syllabus came up with Like a sled type thing and we just started dragging them to town And we encountered some creepy old lady I Forgot her name If she said it My god, she Morgantha. Okay, and she Allegedly according to her Was selling her little pies in Milwaukee And she was coming back to her windmill house that she lives in with her daughters in the middle of nowhere and Even though it's like 8 a.m. In the morning and it's like three hours away. So like I don't know She left her house at 2 a.m. To sell Between the hours of like 5 and 8 or something. No, not even it had to be even earlier than that Yeah, so her story is totally weird and we inspected her pies and There was some sort of enchantment magic on them So did not eat that Pretty sure we buried it somewhere so that no one would like come across it and be like ooh pie And then we came across some wolves which were Definitely some of them were wolves They were regenerating and stuff And they put up a crazy fight.

So We were we were struggling to put those wolves down Afterwards it seems that you know Possibly Iridell may have contracted lycanthropy, so we have to act fast to Also cure that on top of curing our other friends. So we're juggling a lot And we also noted that in all the fighting Irina was never struck by the wolves.

It's like quite a bit of prodding from me to like keep it like kind of faithful to like what the actual events that happened it like Consistently it really wanted to default to like the original source material of the like campaign module and Present things the way how like a typical party would write it Which was weird. I thought I don't know.

It has a lot of chatter Yeah, so then we were trying to put it into chat jippity so that it would like label Like who said what if it could figure it out?

They checked your teeth They rubbed garlic. They like waved garlic around to see if there was any if it gave any reaction But you all passed their exams So you are you were permitted entrance into the Lockheed and You find yourselves walking through the the gates You're greeted with the expanse of the town before you Let me see if I have a blurb here All right So you pass from the earthen road onto cobblestone streets mud staining your boots and the bottoms of your pants Behind you the gates closed with a slam and you can see the guards resume their posts behind it in the distance You can see a handful of other figures patrolling around bearing pikes Patrolling the walls as they look down on the twisted forest beyond You see that the eaves of the buildings hang with old banners and tattered fabrics that flap and twists in the chill breeze The banners are painted with faded words and illustrations But time has robbed them of both their legibility and any beauty they may have once had Flickering candlelight lingers beyond behind the shuttered townhouse windows and Humanoid shadows move beyond the closed curtains Long shadows are lurking in the alleyways where the grass grows long and twisted beneath the stained and sagging wood of the buildings above The streets are mostly empty They're pretty sparse at this hour You see like a small smattering of people walking about but Yeah, it just seems like a pretty Sleepy town for the moment however, there's no there's no looming threats of undead Monsters sieging the town or anything anything like that. So for the first time in a long time You all feel like you have a moment to breathe and have some semblance of safety within the palisade walls And as you cross into the town you note that Ember and Saturno begin to stir awake.

28:49 [DM (Aarya)] I want to read it for y'all Um, okay So as you walk up you see this slouching centuries old stone church has a bulging steeple in the back and walls lined with cracked stained glass windows depicting various pious saints A fence of wrought iron encloses a garden of grains of gravestones next to the church and a thin mist creeps upon the graves And as you walk in you see a dozen ornate candelabras bathe Rows of well-kept pews in candlelight casting a soft luminescence that touches every corner of this chapel at the far end of a room At the far end of the room you see a wooden altar standing proudly Carved with a proud sunburst with rays thrusting forth in cheery defiance six tall windows flank the altar though one um no, never mind, uh, and you see a broad-shouldered, uh Stern looking man sitting in the front rows of the pews with a young boy um They appear to be going over some kind of lessons together And on one side of the church near a side entrance you see a young man sweeping the floor All right So As you enter, uh this young man over here Steps forward He looks you up and down and he calls out to the back Father it appears someone's here And you see this priest looking fellow Stands up And he faces you Well Who have we here?

34:38 [DM (Aarya)] Then that means the curse has taken root i'm afraid well I can Cure this probably well not cured I should say there is uh A ritual of sorts that It would allow me to suppress the effects of the curse for one night Rather than transforming Into a werewolf a full-on werewolf You would only transform into a docile Normal wolf I suppose

But um, yeah, the the water is almost unnaturally still uh as you're pulling up you see that arena seems kind of lost Uh, she seems almost wistful as she's staring out towards the lake i'm gonna roll up perceive ma see if I notice this Everything's fine I'll roll too.

59:40 [DM (Aarya)] It's like a dirt path basically Um, you see that the trail here is littered with pebbles and overgrown in parts, uh by moss and wild grass Uh, you see to the left The trees of the spalic woods stand tall and foreboding and to the right a chill breeze sweeping in um tinged with a faint brackish scent And damp earthiness of old silts coming from the lake um apart from the The distant croaks from ravens the only sounds here you hear are The squelching of mud beneath your feet and the quiet laughing of the waves against the shore Um, and then a little bit further ahead you can see a small crudely built shack near the water's edge And a little bit next to it you see a an old stone slab resting on a cracked mossy stone circle

Um Um, you can see that there's like some sign like based on the footprints you see that there's like a set of tracks um Heading further into the woods kind of like along the shoreline of the lake and you see at some point Another set of tracks and what appears to be a sign like signs of some kind of like scuffle that happened Uh, like you notice that there are parts in the brush that are like where there's like broken branches and stuff Um, and you see something caught on one of the broken branches

02:53:16 [DM (Aarya)] all right, so With that, uh rectavio clears his throat and he begins regaling you with a tale The vampire count velasco kept his coffin not in a crypt or keep But in the cellar of an old decrepit inn Which was managed by his servant eager on Poor count velasco had a terrible secret In his ancient age his scalp was beginning to rot his hair falling out in great clumps and knots In embarrassment, he commanded eager on to purchase a beautiful raven black wig hoping to preserve the handsome younger man He had once been Um A handsome man indeed agreed one of his guests an elderly near blind widow named olivenka one particular moonlit night dear olivenka kept to herself Spending her day sorting and resorting her late husband's rock collection, which she kept lovingly in her purse Despite the count's odd behavior and paled skin She suspected nothing her old vision too blurry to make out the fangs that poked down amidst his teeth As always the count felt an urge to feed upon her And though her flattering words quelled his interest He felt the thirst in his fangs all the same Eager on he boomed fetch my coat. I'm going hunting Yes, sire eager on wheezed as he returned he whimpered Best be back before dawn my lord. I'm cleaning the curtains tonight want you nice and safe in your coffin before sunrise Count belasco scoffed Fear not simple eager on he boasted I know well the hour of my enemy not a thing could stir my spirit to linger beneath its dreadful rays And so the count departed He lurked in alleyways and prowled across rooftops yet.

He had made one terrible mistake He had forgotten that olivenka's cataract ridden eyes couldn't quite see his fangs You disgusting man olivenka screeched and whirled 18 years worth of rare rocks and minerals directly towards his head There was a terrible thud and a terrible splintering of wood and count belasco went tumbling down to the floor below When he opened his eyes, he saw olivenka staring in horror not at him, but at his head his bare head There just beneath the eastern window lay his beloved wig He dove for it claws outstretched and a sliver of sunlight grazed across his skin There was a sizzle a hiss and a burst of smoke and flame olivenka purse clutched to her chest watched in awe as count belasco succumbed to the morning light Until all that remained was a smoldering heap of ash and a charred smoking wig Poor olivenka never quite quite never quite got over it After all it was quite the hair raising experience Um and in response to his story of the crowd gathered around him Uh, you hear a mixture of boos and laughs and chuckles and some a little bit of applause
