Session 05 - Summary

Recap

Neyavr 2 — session opened with Sildir's recap of Session 4. Actual play resumed as the party collected Ireena Kolyana from the grassy knoll north of Barovia Village, gathered rations at the burgomaster manor, and departed on the old Svalich Road toward Tser Pool. On the road Ireena revealed Strahd von Zarovich bit her the night Kolyan died; Sildir partially healed the wound but fang scars remained. At a crossroads gallows cemetery the party met Strahd in person—his coach driven by the funeral mourner "Abraham," now named Escher Belasco. Irredel Commanded Sildir to grovel; Strahd offered then withdrew a duel challenge; party talked their way past after Irredel Silenced Sildir. Strahd claimed Ireena as his own but let the party keep her for now, marked two "points" against Sildir, and excused Durst Manor damage as self-defense. En route to the falls, the blue-tipped raven that led them to Ismark Kolyanovich was found wounded; scarecrow-vulture constructs attacked during rescue. After combat, Irredel removed silver barbs; Mercurio healed the raven, which perched on his shoulder. Session ended on the road still short of Tser Pool (Session 5 @ 02:54:24).
