00:26 [DM (Aarya)] Yep, so when we first Started the last session you guys made it to the entrance of Barovia village You found a village that seems to be seems to have been under some kind of attacks and the villagers had fortified it against Whatever was plaguing them and they asked you are you dead or alive and then? You are shortly afterwards ushered in to the town Town square and then the local tavern by Ismar Kolyanovich the son of Kolyan Indirovich the burgomaster of the village and While you're at the tavern Ismar gives you the rundown of what's happening in the village you learn that The village has been under siege for the past week by hordes of undead And Yeah, you met quite a few characters But the villagers have been mounting their defenses and repelling the attacks each night You also learned that many of the villagers fled Barovia To go to the next closest settlement of Alaki, which is what you learn is a few days travel away You also meet two

Got it All right, so we kind of dispersed the riot with insults and songs and then I think like through talking with Johan and Elmo We kind of like decide that We definitely give the burgomeister some trouble where it's like dude, like what you're doing is not sustainable But I think we at least agree to defend for the night.
07:16 [DM (Aarya)] Yeah and We start fighting for the night And Then I think we're doing well, but All right, we like we we made it through the combat I want to say you did so when we left off you had just finished combat and Then you heard screams coming from the other side of the village.

Currently you see right before you in front of the statue of East mark the greater East mark Kolyanovich himself is standing in front of a makeshift barrier He appears to be severely wounded And he's fighting off the last of a zombie horde that made it this far You see dozens of bodies littering the streets bloody and unmoving The air is thick and with pungent with the pungent scent of rot and death and the howling wind sings with the sound of terrified screams The barricade protecting the town square has been shattered.
11:14 [DM (Aarya)] It's flinted remains surrounded by mountains of corpses And in the square children scream as the elderly and infirm watch with muted horror The torches to the west have been extinguished the town's Western defenders fled or killed and only one figure remains standing Eastmark his clothes torn and bloody bearing a long sword in his left hand and a short sword in his right 20 feet away from him stands a pale-skinned zombie It's flesh a smooth sickly white that bulges with crimson veins it's eyes stared dully towards the tents in the town square beyond and as a cloud of and As a cloud of reddish mist spills gently from its gaping mouth it takes a shambling step forward Yes, I'll have y'all roll initiative Let me add the combat encounter
