Resuming in Vallaki streets Neyavr 5 after the Session 10 assassin fight, Sylalys rejoined the party—he and Ireena Kolyana had spent the morning investigating; Ireena rested at Blue Water Inn. Sylalys reported Baron corruption, Festival of the Blazing Sun at noon in four days (same day as full moon), and Lady Fiona Wachter as resistance. Ernst, Fiona's aide, tailed the party and delivered a dinner invitation for tomorrow at 6 p.m. at Wachterhaus. The party bought plain formal clothes at the Arasek Stockyards general store (missing tailor Alexandra named) and visited Vallakovich Manor to flatter Baron Vargas Vallakovich. The Baron tasked them to infiltrate Wachterhaus for evidence against Fiona and approved a fake rehabilitation scheme; upstairs they found Udo chained in a closet. Irredel persuaded the Baron to let the party collect Udo tonight and bring him to the inn at an odd hour. Mercurio spotted a well-stocked library on the upper floor.
