Overview
The Keepers of the Feather are a raven-based intelligence network operating across Barovia. The party knows them through Urwin Martikov at the Blue Water Inn in Vallaki and through his father Davian Martikov, who heads a distant branch from Wizard of the Wines (Session 12 @ 03:27:12; Session 18 @ 03:10:12).
Allies are dubbed friends of the feather—outsiders, not full members (Session 13 @ 00:22:16). Aliases heard in play: friends of the feather, feathered friends (Session 13 @ 00:22:16).

Blue-feather raven
- A raven with a tinge of blue feathers on its wings traveled with the party toward Vallaki; the same bird greeted the party in the Blue Water Inn kitchen when Urwin revealed allyship (Session 12 @ 03:27:12; Session 13 @ 00:19:34).
- Mercurio recognized this raven from the road (Session 13 @ 00:19:34).

Unconfirmed: Rictavio and Nightingale
Party believes (early): Urwin's unseen friendly street acrobat might be Rictavio—a former circus acrobat and bard at Blue Water Inn the party had already met (Session 13 @ 00:25:59; Session 10 @ 00:44:20; Session 9 @ 02:49:23). Rictavio performed acrobatics at the inn the day before Nightingale's first in-person introduction at church (Session 15 @ 00:48:53; Session 16 @ 01:49:14).
Unconfirmed: Whether Rictavio is Nightingale in disguise, a cover identity, or an unrelated inn regular (Session 13 @ 00:26:22; Session 16 @ 02:16:14). Meeting Nightingale in person and cross-matching Urwin's description resolved the acrobat investigator as Nightingale—not Rictavio—but the party has not ruled out a deeper connection.
Post-coup surveillance (Session 21)
- Mercurio asked Urwin to watch Lady Fiona Wachter via the spy network, disclosing her Ezra warlock pact and the party's role in her coup (Session 21 @ 01:49:56).
- Urwin agreed to keep an eye on the person described (Session 21 @ 01:49:07).
- On hearing the full scandal, Urwin swore "by my father's feathers" and collapsed into a stool (Session 21 @ 01:56:18)—party may read this as Keeper-family idiom.
