Overview

Party believes: early wolf-mask sightings tied to disappearances, black-cloak evidence at Lake Zarovich, and Vallaki kidnappings are one connected conspiracy—not the legendary werewolf rulers (Session 9 @ 02:20:30; Session 10 @ 03:29:06).

The legend — Kasimir's tale

Kasimir Velikov recounted a children's tale and warned not to place too much stock in it (Session 9 @ 01:59:51, 02:00:55):

• Centuries ago when Vallaki first formed, a werewolf pack sought to walk among — and eventually rule — civilized folk
• They established a secret shadow society: the "Court of Wolves"
• Would take out people in power and install puppets; send assassins against dissenters (Session 9 @ 02:01:27)
• Kasimir doubts werewolves could form anything so organized as a "court" (Session 9 @ 02:00:55)
